Updates, without the reinstall ritual.

Purser checks one HTTPS feed. You see the version and release notes first; the app downloads, verifies, replaces and relaunches itself only after you agree.

What changed in this release.

These highlights are generated from the dated changelog section for this exact version, so the update page cannot drift back to an older hard-coded release.

  1. 01

    Check

Purser reads the signed release feed daily or when you choose Check for Updates.

  2. 02

    Review

Sparkle presents the version and notes. Automatic checks do not mean automatic installation.

  3. 03

    Verify

The downloaded enclosure must match Purser’s embedded EdDSA public key.

  4. 04

    Replace

After approval, Sparkle swaps the app safely and relaunches into the restored workspace.
